Artisan Pro Optimiste Rouge Pro Lip Colors review

 

I received the Artisan Pro Optimiste Rouge Pro Lip Colors   (Php899.00 now Php699.00)for review a few months back and I have been using it a couple of times to be able to share a real review.

AMW wears Peach Gallette

This is a a super pretty shade, my favorite out of the 4 so I am featuring this first.  

It is wearable even with light or dark makeup.

AMW wears Cou Cou

Cou Cou is my 2nd favorite should because of it's Barbie Pink effect.
I can't ware a bright pink lip color but this one is on the cool tone pink but more on the toned down side.  It made my blush color appear more prominent thus the look is more youthful.

Reminiscing the 90's.  Imagine Mariah Carey on her music video wearing this lip color. 

You can definitely apply a 2nd layer to make this appear darker but I'd go for a light medium brown color and it would give me a more mysterious look.

AMW wears Saint Tropez

Saint Tropez is the lightest shade among the four.  This would work as MLBB shade for those who have fair complexion and a nice nude shade for those with medium to darker complexion.  I prefer to wear such color with heavier eye makeup so I won't look too washed out.

Artisan Pro Optimiste Rouge Pro Lip Colours give off a very unique shade choices you don't normally see in the local market.  Some brands would go for all safe colors but as the name says "PRO", they expanded their shade assortment to the wilder side. 

As for longevity, the brand promises 24-hour way, yes it is possible if you do not wear lip balm underneath or reapply lip balm on top midday.  I can't do so as I have dehydrated lips so lips felt tight and dry midday so I need to hydrate it with my favorite balm.  Thus, with the presence of lip balm, the pigment tends to slide off easier as compared to just wearing the product on its' own.

I personally do not like to wear super matte formulation as those types never work on my lips.  I'd happily use these for clients and recommend these to fellow makeup artists.
